Declaring your place of residence (gyvenamosios vietos deklaravimas) registers your address with the Lithuanian population register. It is required for a residence permit, a personal code, banking, healthcare and school enrolment. Frega handles the declaration with the property owner as part of every managed tenancy.
As a general guide, a furnished one-bedroom apartment in central Vilnius typically ranges from around €700 to €1,400 per month, and larger family apartments in districts such as Žvėrynas from around €1,500 upward, with utilities usually billed separately.
